Safe. Collaborative. Effective.
We may use one method or a combination, always explaining the options and involving you in the decision.
Methods we use - treatment options
01. Dry technique
Microsuction
Microsuction is a safe and gentle way to remove earwax using a small suction device, without the need for water. It works like a tiny hoover, carefully lifting the wax out for a quick and comfortable experience.
β
βIt is often the preferred method for many patients and can be particularly useful where water-based techniques may not be appropriate.

02. Warm water
Irrigation

Ear irrigation (previously known as syringing) uses a gentle flow of warm water to remove earwax safely from the ear canal.
β
Despite common misconceptions, irrigation remains an excellent treatment option for many patients when carried out appropriately following a clinical assessment.
03. Precision removal
Manual instruments
Manual instruments are specialist tools used to remove visible earwax, often from the outer part of the ear canal.
β
They are frequently used alongside microsuction or irrigation to achieve the safest and most effective result.
