A quick ear(wax) MOT for your team
We bring our ear-checking kit to your workplace and give your team the chance to see what’s actually going on inside their ears.
Using a video endoscope, we can check for obvious wax, talk through what we can see and let people know if anything might be worth following up.
You’d be surprised how many people have a little ear niggle they’ve simply got used to, from an occasional itch to a feeling of fullness or blockage.
Around 2 minutes per person
Quick checks mean minimal time away from work and make it easy to fit around the working day.

We bring a small bag of equipment. All we need from you is a private space.

We use a video endoscope to look inside both ears, and they can see what we see on screen if they’d like to.

We talk them through what we can see and let them know if there’s anything they might want to follow up.
We tried it in the community. People loved it.
Ear(wax) MOT
Our Ear(wax) MOT started almost by accident.
Alongside our usual earwax removal service, we began offering quick ear checks at community events and local venues.
The uptake surprised us. People were genuinely curious to see inside their ears, and plenty had little niggles they’d never thought to get checked, or simply didn’t feel were important enough to bother their GP with.
So we thought, why not take the same idea into the workplace?
After seeing how well the idea worked in the community, we thought we'd try something new.
We're now trialling our Ear(wax) MOT days with workplaces, giving businesses an easy way to offer something a little different to their teams.
We’re currently offering a limited number of introductory workplace days at a special launch rate - from £225

Everyone has two ears. Most of us selectively use them from time to time. It’s one workplace extra almost everyone can get involved in.
Barely interrupts the day

WHO ARE THE EARWAX LADIES?
Two experienced healthcare professionals. One slightly unusual business.
We’re Donna and Gemma, and before becoming The Earwax Ladies we spent years working in frontline NHS healthcare.
Between us, we bring more than 20 years of healthcare experience, alongside specialist training in ear assessment and earwax removal.
We’re enhanced DBS checked, comprehensively insured and, importantly, it will always be the two of us who turn up on the day.
Professional enough to know what we’re looking at. Friendly enough to make looking inside your ears feel surprisingly normal.
Calm.
Good listeners (pun intended) & happy to adapt

For workplaces that want to offer a little more, our Check & Treat days give your team the option to have their ears checked and, where needed and appropriate, earwax removed during the same workplace visit.
We bring everything we need and set up in a private room, creating a temporary clinic right there at work.
Ideal for workplaces wanting to go beyond checks and offer earwax removal to your teams where neede.
*We can also arrange workplace Ear(wax) MOT days with hearing assessments carried out by an audiologist.

A little niggle is easy to ignore

Pen lid or a key finding its way into an itchy ear? Volume creeping up? Talking loud enough for the whole office to hear? Maybe it’s worth ruling out the wax before blaming selective hearing.
